Apple has introduced the new iPhone 16e featuring the powerful A18 processor which brings notable performance upgrades. Although the design of the iPhone 16e is similar to the iPhone 14 it includes new features like Face ID. To make Face ID more convenient the front camera is embedded in a notch.

The iPhone 16e is priced at $599 which is approximately 72,000 Bangladeshi Taka (assuming an exchange rate of 120 Taka per dollar).

The iPhone 16e has a 6.6-inch OLED display, making it smaller and narrower than the other models in the iPhone 16 series. It also includes a customizable action button but lacks the new camera control feature. In compliance with European Union regulations the iPhone 16e has a USB-C port instead of the traditional Lightning port. However, this model does not support technology or fast wireless charging, but it does support 7.5-watt Qi wireless charging.

The iPhone 16e is equipped with a 48-megapixel Two-in-One camera system, ensuring high-quality photos. While it doesn’t feature additional cameras, it offers an IP-rated water resistance and wireless charging support. A key highlight of the iPhone 16e is that it is the first iPhone to use Apple’s own custom modem, marking the company’s successful shift away from Qualcomm’s modems.

The iPhone 16e is expected to come with a minimum of 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Pre-orders for the device will begin on Friday, and sales will officially start on February 28th.
