Family and friends of the four released hostages have expressed immense joy and relief as they reunite with their loved ones particularly the female soldiers who were freed by Hamas. Karina Daniella Gilboa Levy and the others are now on their way back to Israel and their return has been met with heartfelt celebration.

The family of Gilboa shared their happiness with the media saying they were overjoyed to see her walking out of a Hamas vehicle visibly healthy and smiling. One relative expressed how emotional it was to see her calling her a hero.

Friends of Levy also praised the four women describing them as amazing and emphasizing their strength during their captivity. One friend spoke about the fear they had wondering what condition the women would be in and expressed relief to see them in good health.

While four women have been released one female soldier Berger remains in captivity. These women were among those abducted from the Oz base on October 7.

The release of these hostages has sparked widespread celebration with crowds cheering as the women were handed over to the Red Cross by Hamas and they have now crossed into Israel returning to safety.
