Google Photos has introduced a new feature in the Android version that will help users quickly find their photos or videos. While using Google Photos, it is common to forget where a specific photo or video is stored, especially when the same media is added to multiple albums. The new update solves this issue by allowing users to easily see which album a photo or video belongs to, without having to navigate through multiple folders.

This new feature appears directly in the photo’s information screen. Previously, this feature was only available in the web version of Google Photos, but now, in the Android app, a section labeled “Albums” has been added to the photo’s information screen. Users can quickly see which album a photo or video is stored in. If a photo is added to multiple albums, the last three albums it was added to will be displayed.

To use this feature, users need to swipe up on the photo or tap on the three-dot icon beside the photo. From there, they can tap on the “Show more” option to view a full list of albums.

This new update greatly improves the experience for Google Photos users by making it easier to locate and manage photos and videos, enhancing overall data management.
